Passenger Boat Association Receives Awards for Improved SAR Plans

The Passenger Boat Association together with partners including the Environment Agency (Southern Region) and Emergency Services in the Thames Valley Region were recently presented with two awards  by the Waterways Trust at the Waterways Renaissance Award Ceremony in Birmingham.  Said PBA Safety and Training Group Chairman Tim Deaton, 'We are extremely proud to recieve this award, our vision now is to see the scheme deployed throughout UK inland waters'.
