Created in 1993 to provide upmarket facilities on board four of London's finest Thames riverboats, cruising between Putney and the Thames Barrier. Our staff are uniformed, professional and also friendly to reflect the fact that this is a family run business with close supervision by the two founders, Nigel Scandrett and Chris Livett. Chris is the past Master of the Company of Watermen and Lightermen, the youngest Master of the company in over 400 years. Nigel has been the largest organiser of Thames river parties for over 30 years and is frequently credited with being the originator of the concept of shared parties for groups back in 1967. The Directors at the outset recognised the requirements of organisers to have the option for their guests to have access to fresh air as well as the security of being completely enclosed.

Each event is approached from the point of view of the client. Nigel's background as probably the largest client for most of the other river companies over the years through his Mainstream Leisure business gives him a unique insight into this aspect of organisation.
