‘Lancing’ provides private party hire cruises and public trips on the Kennet & Avon Canal in the Reading area. From our landing stage at the rear of The Cunning Man, Burghfield Bridge, Reading we operate a range of cruises of from 1.75 to 4.5 hrs duration. We also operate cruises and trips from Chestnut Walk, Reading and from Aldermaston Wharf. ‘Lancing’ is an historic traditional narrowboat recently modernised to accommodate a maximum of 42 passengers. A bar serving a range of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks and range of snacks is available. Buffet catering can be provided to order. 240v power is available on board to support technical equipment. ‘Rosina Emma’ is available for up to 12 passengers either on a self-drive or skippered basis for day hire on the Kennet & Avon Canal from Burghfield Bridge. Also available for skippered hire at Henley Royal Regatta.
