The Wey Navigation was built over 300 years ago and was once an important 'fast' route for transporting goods from Guildford to London. Today the leisurely pace of the waterway can be enjoyed with a trip on board one of our purpose built river trip boats. Our cruises cover the four mile stretch of River Wey between Guildford and Godalming, passing through pretty countryside and old-style hand-operated locks. Public and Group Trips run on board ‘The Harry Stevens’, an open sided launch holding up to 60 passengers. Private Charter is available on board ‘The Alfred Leroy’ which accommodates between 25 and 49 passengers. There is a large selection of menus and prices to suit everyone from a simple ploughman’s or afternoon tea, to a full three-course dinner menu. Cruise lengths of between 45 minutes and 3 hours are available from Easter to the end of September. |
